The Outlaw – Starring Jane Russell

Made in 1943, The Outlaw is a classic American Western film, directed by Howard Hughes and starring Jane Russell. This psychological Western was well known due to the costuming, which turned Jane Russell into a Hollywood icon and sex symbol. Billy the Kid and Doc Holliday are close friends, however when lawman Pat Garrett comes on the scene, he attempts to ambush Billy and get him locked up. Doc lets Billy hide out in his ranch, much to his regret once Billy develops a strong admiration for Rio (Doc’s curvaceous mistress.) As chemistry between the two develops, a fight emerges between the former friends. Rating PG
