I grew up in Southern Utah, in the red desert of the Southwestern United States, what is known as the Colorado Plateau (Southern Utah, Northern Arizona, Northwestern New Mexico and Southwestern Colorado). This has always been my spiritual home. Living away from the desert there I’ve come to miss it greatly. I put this together to watch when I am missing my home too much and it helps me remember the smell of sage, pinion, and dry desert wind, the peaceful silence, and the vibrant colors of the desert just before a storm. For all the red desert lovers out there.
Music is “Canyon People” by R. Carlos Nakai off his “Canyon Trilogy” album.
